Get Crazyyy

It is 12:47 am and I have finished  dealing with internship applications and searching for internships. I finally applied to my top record company that I have been wanting to be a part of for soooo long. I acutally talked to the head of the New Media department. I sent him my resume and cover letter so hopefully I hear from him tomorrow since he responded my e-mail I sent out today really quick. As for the other interships I applied for, they were for other music industries as well. I just want to work with music, it’s the only thing that is going to make me happy in life. I don’t think anyone will understand the passion that I have for music. To be a part of it, working behind the scenes and dealing with bands/artists, would make me the happiest person ever.

PAUL BARIBEAU

So I got tons of clothes today, but I would trade it all to just see Paul Baribeau preform. As stoked I was for the show, Paul didn’t get to play because three-quarters of the show in, the cops decided to be lame and bust the show. dumbdumbdumb. I’m so bummed about it, but so I have heard, he’s playing in Brooklyn so I am going to have to take a trip there this week. Thankfully Pace is literally a bridge away from Brooklyn. Also, I didn’t get my major lazer ticket either. ughhhh. Maybe I’ll see the Klaxons instead. I have to find a show. soon. 

Although Paul Baribeau didn’t play, I got to see other bands preform. I finally saw Buttons Up and they were great; I was also introduced to Crazy and The Brains. Crazy and the Brains were awesomeee, absolutely loved them. Oh how I’ve missed house shows. They’re the best. 

The entire day I resisted going shopping…until now. I just spent 80 dollars on a single pair of pants with all the shipping/handling and tax! wahhhh They were just so nice and I wanted them SO bad. Bright side is I didn’t pay for them. Kudos tu mi madre for my pantalones. Usually, I am a cheap shopper because I am a poor college student, but there are expcetions. There are five things that I truly spend money on….Concert tickets, shoes, pants, piercings and anything dealing with my hair. Odd combo, I know. Oh well

My goal for going to more shows was a fail. I was suppose to go to a show today, but I slept through it. -_- Typical. Last night was funnnnn hanging out with some awesome people.  Tomorrow is another day and another show and I am DEFINITELY NOT missing that for the world.

All I want to do now is sleep. I am stuck in this CIS class with Corinn and we pretty much want to shoot ourselves. Our CIS professor decided to not show up to class but had his Indian minions who CANNOT speak english at all. So whats the point of being here? I’m not learning anything right now.

Ughh. It’s weird actually writing this post because I haven’t written a long post in awhile. There really is not much to say other than life is much better now than it was. I’m much happier and yep…thats pretty much it. yay.
